Hey there my name is Jason the owner of kelsah.com. Kelsah is more than a brand name. It’s part of my heart.

Kelsah was the name of my child, the one I knew for years as daddy’s little girl. As a father, that identity became deeply tied to my memories, my love, and the way I saw my role in my child’s life.

So when my child told me he was transgender and wanted to live as Dante, I won’t pretend the adjustment was easy for me.

At first, it was hard.

I had to let go of the picture I had carried in my mind for so many years and learn to truly see the person my child had always known himself to be.

But love has a way of changing us.

Over time, I began to see not what I thought I was losing, but the incredible strength it took for Dante to live honestly. It takes courage to stand in your truth, especially when you know you may be misunderstood.

And as his dad, my heart changed.

What first felt difficult became something I could admire, respect, and eventually be deeply proud of.

Today, I am proud of Dante… proud of his courage, proud of his strength, and proud of the person he is becoming.

I kept the name Kelsah for this brand because it represents love, growth, family, and transformation. It reminds me that love is not about asking someone to stay who we expected them to be. It is about loving them enough to allow them to become who they truly are.
